Introduction: Photos, Artwork, and More
Warhammer
40K is a visual game, so here's where you'll find photos of:
-
my army;
-
interesting characters
and conversions;
-
Fighting Tiger
Allies from 2nd Edition;
-
the inspiration
for the Fighting Tigers; and
-
guest artwork
(including miniatures) of Fighting Tigers
I'll admit straight-up
that I am far from the best painter in the world, and most of these figures
were painted back in the 1980's and 1990's, when my attitude about painting
was that it was a fairly tedious chore. Back then, I slapped on paint pretty
thickly, and incorrectly thought that the more tiger stripes, the better.
My technique has improved since then, but there is only so much lipstick
you can put on a pig. A lot of what you're going to see could be better
painted by arthritic chimpanzees on crystal meth, so if you're an art snob,
you may just want to skip this whole section. For the rest of you, take
a look around and see if anything strikes your fancy or inspires you.
